After having made several hand-held wrist rollers, experimenting with various materials and designs, I have finally put together the ultimate wrist roller!
This puppy meets all of my stringent requirements:
This is the very best wrist roller you could possibly get! I know. I have always had an affinity for hand-held wrist rollers, as they provide a powerful forearm workout, allowing overhand and underhand wrist curls simultaneously, and you can take it with you when you travel. I have purchased six commercial wrist rollers over the years, and each one of them has had its flaws - either they would loose resistance while being used, or they couldn't provide enough resistance, or the mechanisms would fail, or they would snag and bind, or all of the above. A couple of them weren't even worth the cost of postage.
The Mega Wrist Roller has none of these flaws and I can confidently say that it is the best wrist roller you'll ever wrap your mitts around! Give this thing a 20 rep go, and your forearms will be pumped!
I just received the Mega Wrist Roller. Love it. Love it. Love it. It is the wrist roller addict’s ultimate crack. Sturdy, difficult and challenging. I did 2x20 with it and felt the pump throughout my upper body especially my arms. Look forward to other stuff you might make available. Keep up the great work!- Mike Nowicki
This wrist roller is simply the best there is! Nice thick handle and sure grip with a smooth resistance level that can be fine tuned to however you want. I love that I can control it for either low or high reps. You can even set it so hard that you can only do a single rep which is great for applying your full wrist strength. I tried another popular one before this and it only served to disappoint me, resistance level was too low even at highest and would jam shut if you turned it too tight. It was a toy next to this mega one which I am 100 percent satisfied with. I searched all over for a good wrist roller and there really is nothing that even comes close to the heavy duty quality and tension adjustment of this one that is suitable for anyone weak or strong! Thanks Bruce for creating such a great wrist roller!- Vic, Canada
I love it. It's certainly a lot easier to use than my homemade PVC pipe wrist roller which I have to go out to the garage, tie on some weights, etc. etc. It doesn't take long to work those forearms and when you get close to the end of a set and you can't go on, just a slight turn makes it easier so you continue. It's an ingenious design. I might have to get the martial arts gripper thingy. It's great and I wish I would have bought one a long time ago.- Charles Long, Colorado
My first impression was that it was very impressive. Bubble wrapped for safety.Yet when I say impressive, I mean also the device itself. Mega is right, it looks like a piece of technology left over from a Japanese monster flick! This thing is THICK. The handles are perfect width for really testing the grip and they have a grippy hard rubber coating for sureness. A heavy duty clamp in the middle anchored by an equally heavy duty bolt and handle rounds it out. It gives you a great feel and I can see how using this thing will prove to be addictive. It is obvious this is built to last. There is even a sticker on the clamp identifying what it is, and Yin-yang/shaolin symbols on each end, giving it a "retail" look.
Turning the screw tightens the clamp, making turning the handles harder as you tighten progressively down. Very quickly you realize that soon you can't budge the handles at all if you turn it too tight. Adjusting it is quick and easy. I am impressed with the ingenuity.
Bruce recommends 4 sets and I added some variations. I have to honestly admit, this thing does truly give you a terrific muscle-building experience. My forearms were quickly on fire.
I can tell that this device is great for anyone who is playing a sport, or sitting at the desk getting carpal. I got back into grip training to increase my range in disc golf. I now view this as a can't live without device and this is just the first day i have had it. It is definitely cool to look at, and fun to use. It is more portable than your traditional weighted wrist roller, and more easily adjusted. There is no real comparison.
I give this product 2 definite thumbs up. It really is a high quality product. I love the thick handles. this is a winner.
